| The Data Digest,
issued annually by Institutional Assessment and Studies, is
designed to present the most frequently requested information
about the University and serves as a primary reference source
for many University departments. Information in the Data
Digest is presented in tabular or graphic form; occasionally
the same information is presented in both formats. |

We attempt to present data in the most meaningful format. Although
space limitations affect the amount and depth of information presented,
we welcome suggestions to include frequently needed information. Much
of the information contained in the Data Digest is drawn from the University's computerized databases.
However, some information is obtained from other University offices,
and we are grateful for the cooperation and assistance of those offices
in annually providing data. Each table contains a citation of the
data source(s).
