In FY-2003-04, there was a natural decline in private gift support based on the completion of pledge payments to the fundraising campaign that concluded in 2000. This is part of the natural evolution of pledge payments and private support. At the beginning of the previous campaign (FY-92) the baseline of private support was $50 million per year and it grew to over $200 million per year by the end of the campaign.
