IAS is responsible for completing the required University reporting
to the Commonwealth of Virginia through the State Council of Higher
Education for Virginia (SCHEV)
and the required federal reporting through the Integrated Postsecondary
Education Data System (IPEDS).
Included in the datasets are data regarding student enrollment,
enrollment projections, degrees conferred, graduation rates, employees,
finances, financial aid, faculty salaries, tuition and fees, and
research expenditures.
Much of the data resulting from SCHEV reporting
for the University of Virginia as well as for other public and private
institutions in the Commonwealth can be obtained from the SCHEV
Reports/Statistics website.
Most federal data resulting from IPEDS reporting
for the University of Virginia as well as for other institutions
nationwide can be obtained from the IPEDS
Peer Analysis website. One can also obtain much of the
IPEDS data from the IPEDS
College Opportunities On-Line (COOL) website.
Copies of specific SCHEV
and IPEDS survey responses and data files submitted by IAS can
be requested by filling out the form in Data
Support. The availability of such data is subject to student
and faculty privacy restrictions.
To review data collected
and tabulated about the University of Virginia only, go to the Data
Catalog.
