TTI Projects in our Showcase
Rare East Asian Artwork
Presented by: Andrea Douglas,
Bayly Museum
|
Andrea and Dan Ehnbom developed a rich archive of images of fragile and rare East Asian artwork. Two things they particularly wanted to explore were the difficulty of getting the colors of the art works correct and the educational value of capturing the backs of the works! Both issues are details that an expert would readily understand but which someone from another field might easily miss. Andrea looks forward to bringing you into the expert's circle! |

Jeff will demo the ways he is extending his TTI project into a new course, STAT 212. Jeff uses WebWork, which is a java based tool allowing him to provide interactive exercises for students which they can do in advance of covering that material in class. Jeff, a creative, engaged teacher, notes that he has some other fresh ideas he looks forward to discussing with colleagues. |
